The MUIS Awards Ceremony 2016 confers the Jasa Cemerlang award to an individual with outstanding achievements and contributions, while the Jasa Bakti awards recognizes the contributions of a few individuals in various fields. President of Singapore Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam presented the awards at a ceremony on 8 October 2016, where Dr Yaacob Ibrahim and Chief Executive of MUIS Hj Abdul Razak Maricar were also present.
